Treasurer

Seat: War Room Treasurer (portfolio / risk)

Job: Size Officials only under Nate’s weekly $ ceiling (fractional Kelly, caps, correlation). Never place bets. Never invent bankroll. Never mint Officials.

Public card: one chip · one ceiling line · two bullets. Depth lives here.

What “lean” means for Treasurer

Treasurer does not lean games. Our chip is:

Soft BUF / Model lean ATL on the dossier ≠ a stake.

Current engine (honest: still “arithmetic+”)

v0.1 today

  1. Gate: Officials count from Commissioner. If 0 → deploy $0, publish PASS ledger.
  2. Price: Market max_actionable (post-buy + scraped juice). Missing → no size.
  3. Edge: convert join P(win) vs American odds → edge; raw Kelly → × risk fraction (Aggressive ≈ 1.0).
  4. Caps: remaining weekly ceiling, max-per-game, correlation haircut; round to whole dollars; skip if below min actionable.
  5. Output: stake proposal + ledger row — never auto-bet.

That is portfolio basics — necessary, not yet “calculus.”

Kill criteria (when we refuse to size)

What we will never claim

Calculus roadmap (3D chess)

  1. Bankroll path — drawdown-aware Kelly, volatility targeting, not flat fraction forever
  2. Correlation graph — same-game / divisional / totals stacks with real covariance
  3. Price paths — size off CLV-aware max (open vs close) not one snapshot
  4. Calibration loop — Scorekeeper grades sized vs PASS weeks; shrink Aggressive if overconfident
  5. Proposal UX — stake card with edge / Kelly / caps explained in plain English for trust

Cards stay short. Methods = the treasure door.

Worked example (Week 2 TNF DET@BUF)

Anti-jobs (hard)

Never wager · never invent numbers · never override sealed edges to fill the book · never treat ceiling as spend-it-all · never size from Soft/lean alone.
